NABTA Health is a hybrid healthcare platform developed by Redspark Technologies to provide goal-oriented personalized care for women in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The platform was developed for a healthcare startup aiming to address the lack of access to quality women’s health services in emerging markets. The client, NABTA Health, aimed to empower women across the MENA region to take greater control over their personal health journeys. Their goal was to increase access to care and health education to enable women to make informed decisions about their bodies and wellbeing. Additionally, NABTA Health wanted to provide personalized and proactive healthcare tailored to each woman’s unique health profile and needs. They wanted to leverage technology to offer convenient virtual care options to women across the region, transcending geographical limitations. Finally, the client hoped to build an inclusive community and safe space for women to discuss health issues openly without judgement or stigma. They envisioned a platform where women could support each other, share experiences, and find answers to sensitive health questions in a trusting environment. Some of the key women’s health issues and problems that the NABTA platform helps address include: The platform provides condition-specific care plans, health tracking, counseling, discreet access to products, and community support around these sensitive or stigmatized issues impacting women across the region. Redspark built a seamless platform for NABTA delivering a hybrid care model with networked health providers for in-person and virtual services. The platform provides custom risk assessments and care planning tailored to individual health profiles. It offers personalized health advice, education and treatment. The platform also enables secure access and storage of medical records that can be shared with doctors/gynecologists at NABTA clinics. This allows women to discretely manage stigmatized health issues, receive remote care, and make more informed health decisions. Meanwhile, their doctors can monitor changes in health metrics on a daily basis and notify women if any sudden changes are detected that require further screening or intervention. The data sharing functionality ensures women and their healthcare providers can both access and track health information for better outcomes. Additionally, the NABTA app itself provides tailored health suggestions directly to users by analyzing their individual health data and patterns. The proprietary algorithms detect potential issues and provide personalized recommendations to each woman for preventative care or further screening based on her unique health profile. Trained using local data: The platform was developed using data from under-served populations in MENA to tailor solutions to their needs and contexts. Female-focused design: The user experience was designed specifically for women, focusing on privacy, anonymity and convenience. Culturally-conscious: Local cultural norms and sensitivities around women’s health were considered during development. Personalized care: Proprietary algorithms provide tailored risk assessments, care plans and health advice unique to each woman. The NABTA Health platform delivered by Redspark Technologies provides accessible, personalized and proactive women’s health services to under-served populations across MENA. Initial results demonstrate high user satisfaction and engagement. The hybrid model has allowed women to discretely manage stigmatized health issues, receive remote care, and make more informed health decisions. NABTA Health: Empowering Women’s Health in MENA
